Charging cord

I am wondering what to do about a charging cord.  Is it the cord or battery itself.  Will diagnostics show which one is faulty? Thanks.

Good Day.

Depending on mobiledevice , you should be able to determine whether you are connected to a power source or not. If you do not see a power connection on your display, it can be either the charging cable, battery, or an issue with the device.

The easiest & fastest method of checking this out would be to change the cord, plug the device in & see if it charges. If it does not charge, then it is now time for you to decide on next steps ; repair or replace.

Take care.
