I bought an iPhone XS in Dec 2018. I have now bought an iPhone 15 Pro Max from Apple. Will I need a new SIM card for my new phone from Bell? or will my existing SIM work? Thinking of 5G network.

You will need a new SIM card if you wish to take advantage of the Bell 5G network. There is no problem with your current SIM, it is just pre 5G.
