Does bell allow you to connect to other service providers cell towers to improve service in Canada? With rogers if I was having poor cell service, I would choose to connect to one of bell/telus networks (extended service) to improve my connectivity in some rural areas where Rogers did not work. Bell does not seem to allow me to do this unless I need to change a setting or do something different?

Hey there @visitor ,
Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post.
Depending on your phones configuration, it should already be set up to automatically connect to the strongest available network in the area where you're currently located.
You can verify your network settings in your phone to see which network preferences you have selected; Network Type (5G, 4G/LTE/LTE+, etc.) and Network Selection (normally preset to automatic).
One thing to keep in mind; If you change your network settings, it may affect the stability of your connection (calls, SMS and/or data) and we always recommend keeping them set to automatic.
If you're unsure on where to locate the these settings; Check out your phones User Guide
on Bell.ca.

Thats not the case. If you are setup for automatic it will only choose the bell network. There could be a LTE network with another service provider available and it will not connect. A lot of the time with bell it will eventually connect to 3G which does not get any service. I’m not exactly sure how bell actually has customers. I was with Rogers for 10 years and never had any service issues. I’ve been with bell for 3 days and never have service. Hate to say it but will probably switch back to Rogers once the ball with an offer. Bell has had great customer service but that’s not the day to day experience I’m looking for.
