Galaxy S21 dead motherboard

I have a galaxy s21 and it is frozen. I took it to a cellular repair place and they indicated the mother board is defective and needs to be replaced. Is this something that I can do without violating my contract?

Hi there, @tmullin67. Welcome to the Bell Community.

Completing third party repairs on your phone will not violate your service agreement itself; however it would void Smart Phone Care if you had signed onto that at the beginning of your contract, as well as any manufacturer warranty coverage you may still have.

Let us know if you have any further questions.
