How to receive Picture & Video message without a data plan

if you have as part of your mobility plan unlimited picture and video messages. How can you send and receive when you do not have a data plan? Usually would have to temporarily enable data to send and receive MMS and then disable it after to avoid other apps from using data and being charged. Is there a workaround for this?

Hello everyone,

I have the 15$ a month prepaid talk and text plan. I can send SMS and make and receive phone calls perfectly fine, but on the plan page it shows that i have unlimited picture and video messaging, however i can only make and recieve picture messages by turning data on before sending them. i am afraid this is going to charge my account, and i dont see why they would put that on there if it does charge your account.

I cannot received or send pictures on my S8 unless my data is on...this is ridiculous as it worked fine on my Samsung S7. Why is this happening 

The message I receive is MMS is disabled...which it's not.

I keep getting overcharged by bell as my data exceeds from this problem. Thinking of leaving Bell.

Get Bell to put a data block on your phone and turn data on as it is needed for mms as long as you have unlimited texting you should have no data charges
