Just to clarify, are you using iMessage to send messages on your iPad?

Hello Patricia.  Yes, iMessage to group of 3, 2 in group have Samsungs and one has iPhone.

Unfortunately, we would not be able to troubleshoot duplicate iMessages, as that is an Apple service. Is your iPad active with a SIM on your account? Are you running the most current version of iOS?

thanks.  iPad doesn’t have its own SIM, it sends from my IPhone.  Yes, most current version.  Friend with Samsung got text from me yesterday 3 times.  Will check out the link you provided.  Thanks for your help.
