That information would only be available on your device. Bell doesnt store that information.

You can see the amount of their data usage per number in your MyBell account under group details. Bell cant see actual browsing but will show you the amount used.

Hey Athena

If you see usage from his number he is definatly using it. We do have an option called Data Manager in MyBell where you can block data if you are interested. Give this a read 🙂

Also instructions on how to do it.

Really? The other family member on the plan keeps getting "throttle" notifications but says he rarely uses any data.

Yes, I know that. But it gives no details, no evidence that he actually has used the data. Every time he receives a throttle message, he gets a little angry and questions me about it again.

So the answer for him is that there's no way to prove it?

There are many data managing apps you can download to keep track of how much data you consume.

With an iPhone, you can see which apps used your data in a current period. You need to reset the period to match your billing date. So if your monthly plan starts on the 5th of every month, you need to reset statistics on the 5th so the data tracker starts when your billing period does.

you can track and reset your cellular data by going to settings than cellular. In there it will break down your usage.

remember, apps and phone system functions can eat up your data in the background without you realizing. To avoid surprise data usage, you should turn off app access to data and monitor your usage.

The MyBell app also has a data tracker which tells you from the network side (as apposed to the device side mentioned above) how much data you consumed in a period.

I have Fibe TV and the VIPXXX box... I tried to chat with someone but I had 7 people ahead of me. The issue resolved itself, I think it was Bell rather than the box itself
