The screen is broken on my Bell samsung phone, I am inserting my SIM card in my old Samsung I bought from my previous carrier and require a network unlock code. How do I get a Network unlock code?

When you purchase a Samsung phone from a carrier, your phone is locked to their network. You must contact the carrier to obtain an unlock code.

How to enter the unlock code provided by your phone carrier to unlock your Galaxy phone

1. Power off the device.
2. Insert the carrier SIM card into the device.
3. Power on the device.
4. Wait for device to display the "SIM Network unlock PIN" screen.
5. Enter the code provided by your phone carrier and then tap Unlock.
6. If successful the device will display "Network unlock successful".
