Perplexity Pro code rejects my subscriber status

Hello, I joined Bell Mobility this year and received a code for a 1-yr subscription to Perplexity Pro in August. I held off on using it because the deadline is Dec 31, 2025 and I already had an active Perplexity Pro subscription.

Anyways, my subscription expired and I'm ready to activate the free subscription from Bell but keep running into an error message that it's an invalid code or, that it's only for first-time customers. My question is, do they mean first-time Bell Mobility customer, or Perplexity Pro customer? Can Bell weigh in on this because this doesn't feel right as a Bell customer.

Thank you for posting your question. You mentioned in your post that you already had an active Perplexit Pro subscription. Unfortunately, you do not qualify for the Bell Mobility Perplexity promotion.

This promotion is valid only to new Perplexity Pro subscribers who have not previously created a Perplexity Pro account or previously redeemed a trial Perplexity Pro offer.

I have included the following eligibility details for your review.

Offer ends on December 31, 2025, for existing Bell customers as of August 12, 2025.

  • For any new customers who activate their Bell Mobility service after August 12, 2025, offer valid for 6 months to redeem.
  • Available to eligible Canadian residents on a Mobility plan with data with Bell Mobility, who maintain their subscription to any Mobility plan with data, with an account in good standing.
  • Offer subject to change without notice.
  • Not combinable with other offers.
  • Valid only to new Perplexity Pro subscribers who have not previously created a Perplexity Pro account or previously redeemed a trial Perplexity Pro offer.
