Receiving Calls from Canada to US

I have the US calling plan. I will be visiting the US. Will anyone be charged if they call me from Canada while I'm in the US?

Good Day.

If your mobility plan includes "unlimited calling, texting & data in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico" then you will not incur any long distance, data or texting charges while in the U.S. (Calls that you make to & from the U.S. are included in this type of plan.)

The physical location of the person calling you is not important if you are in the U.S. If they pay long distance today to call you, they will continue to pay long distance as if you were at home in Canada. There will not be any additional charges incurred by anyone calling you.

As I mentioned previously, if you are unsure of your mobility plan coverage, the complete details are included on MyBell.

Should you require further clarification, do not hesitate to contact Bell Mobility Customer Service at: 1 800 667-0123 or dial *611 from any Bell mobile device.

Take care.

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.

Which Bell Mobility plan do you have?  Ultimate 200 - CAN/U.S./MEX? This plan includes unlimited calling, texting & data in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.

If you are not physically within your incoming local calling area when you receive a call, that does not include unlimited CAN/U.S./MEX calling, texting & data, then charges would apply.

The physical location of the person calling you is not important if you are in the U.S. If they pay long distance today to call you, they will continue to pay long distance as if you were at home in Canada. There will not be any additional charges incurred by anyone calling you.

You can reconfirm your mobility plan & coverage in your MyBell web account. If you wish to view your mobility agreement, you can also do so by accessing your MyBell account using any web browser.

Your mobile agreement is located in MyBell > My Profile > Service profiles > Mobile > View my Bell mobility agreements. (Top right side of page below your mobile number.)

You can view, download, or print your agreement from here.

Take care.
