Hi there, @Almyra. Welcome to the Bell Community.

For the Community to be better able to assist you, could you please provide further details as to the issues you're experiencing?

Do keep in mind that many factors can limit signal strength; topography, environmental conditions, line of sight to towers, types of buildings in your area, etc.

  • Are these issues only happening at home, or elsewhere as well?
  • Have you tried changing the network settings in your phone? Sometimes preventing your phone from searching for 5G can free up resources to focus on LTE instead.
  • Do you know of anyone else in the area having similar issues?
  • Have you tried using Wi-Fi callingOpens in a new tab or window where available?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
  • Have you got in touch with our technical support team to open a ticket?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

same here in the Niagara Region, Iphone 14, most times only 1 bar of service.  Losing & dropping calls due to this issue.

Hi there, @Kate48. Welcome to the Bell Community.

Please take a look at the questions asked earlier in the thread - any additional details you can provide will be greatly helpful in clarifying for the Community to be better able to assist. 🙂

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

For the last two months the cell service in my area has been very poor. Many times only one bar, calls dropped and many calls breaking up even when I’m stationary. I have spoken to two other bell customers in my neighborhood who are experiencing the same problems. We all got new phones thinking it was the device.

Is there a way to report a gap in wireless coverage to Bell? I’m in Ontario and along the GO train line between Georgetown and Acton I drop down to either “SOS” or 3G which means no data availability. It’s consistently the same place and it’s been like this on multiple phones.  I assume no one reports these things so probably no one at Bell is actively working to resolve, but it would be so good to have a ticket filed so it’s at least on someone’s radar.

Both of our cell phone are only getting 3G in welland and at Catherine’s so usable. I have , roaming on and My voice and data setting at LTE and there is no option to select 4g. Never had this before. Is there a current problem?

Hi there, @Doug1. Thanks for your post.

We wanted to check in and see if the issue has been persisting. If so, have you spoken to Tech Support and opened a ticket in regards to this? Depending on the nature of the issue, they may need to do live troubleshooting with you.

If you have opened a ticket, have you heard back from them as of yet, or followed up with them? Please do keep the Community up to date if there's been any change or update. 🙂

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Cell phone coverage on Welland is very poor.
