Hello,

I can send and receive texts from a person but when they call they're call goes directly to voicemail as if they are blocked. How do I fix this so their calls come through. I can make out going calls to them they just cannot call me, but they can text me.

Hey there @heath

Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post.

It sounds like the phone number in question would be in your phones reject list.

On an Apple device you can complete the verification by doing the following; Go to Settings > Phone > Call Blocking & Identification, slide the number to the left and tap Delete.

On an Android device you can complete the verification by doing the following; Open the phone app > Tap the menu icon (the three dots) > Settings > Blocked numbers > Tap the X to delete.

I've unknowingly diverted a contact to voicemail. How do I undo this? Thank you.

What type of device are you using? I have include three of the more popular manufacturers: Apple, Android, & Samsung. Depending on your device & version history, these procedures may be slightly different.

Apple: When you block a phone number or contact, they can still leave a voicemail, but you won't get a notification. Messages that are sent or received won't be delivered. Also, the contact won't get a notification that the call or message was blocked. To undo this, you need remove the blocked number from your blocked list.

Android: This can be done by opening the Contacts or Phone app, selecting the contact you want, and tapping on the three dots or the edit button. From there, you can select the option to send the contact directly to voicemail by enabling the "Send to voicemail" or "All calls to voicemail" feature, depending on your device. You can also cancel this by disabling this feature. It is important to note that this feature may vary slightly depending on the model and Android version of your device.

Samsung: This can be done through several steps depending on the model of your phone. However, generally, you can go to the Contacts app, select the contact you want to send to voicemail, and click on the three dots or options menu. From there, you should see an option to send the contact to voicemail. When selected, any incoming calls from this contact will automatically be directed to your voicemail without ringing your phone. To remove this feature, disable this option.

Motorola & Google Pixel: Both use the Android system & once again depending on the device & version, it will be similar but not necessarily the same as Apple, Android or Samsung.

My Cell Phone / Samsung Galaxy FE 5G: I can receive and call any number, except my home phone number. why?
