BELL eMail
The following link will assist you in answering your questions related to Bell eMail. If you are accessing Bell eMail via a browser, web mail, when you delete an email message, from a folder, it automatically is placed in the deleted folder. There are no settings in web mail to automatically delete messages from the deleted folder. To delete these messages, you must go in to this folder & select the messages to delete. Follow the on screen instructions & the messages will be deleted. This holds true for all webmail folders. You can select individual emails or choose to remove all by choosing the trashcan.
Deletion setting for other various email software programs very in whether the email is deleted from the server or not based on the options chosen for the software application. E.g. Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail, etc. etc.
