Just the same question. I just started with bell Oct 19 and today I get a big bill (oct 22). So I’m trying to find what dates this coverage is for. Just the 9 days. Or… is it oct 22 to nov 22 plus those 9 days. Thanks

I did not find that helpful as it did not clearly say what time frame the bill was for

Just want some clarity…. I became a Bell mobile customer in October 26th. I received a bill of my entire monthly fees plus activation fee (the activation fee I understand). But billing is from the 28th to 28th? So I get billed a whole months worth of usage, for only 2 days?

Decided to join Bell Mobility feb 28 2024 with a light heart. Received email that first bill date would be April 1, 2024. Set up a Bell on-line account on march 6 2024 and continued to wait until the end of march. Logged onto my Bell account march 20-ish and received a message that my bill was long overdue. Set up an online bank account for Bell Mobility and sent the payment to Bell via my bank. This was over 10 days ago. It is now april 5 and I have not received a bill for april, nor has it been acknowledged that I paid the March bill (with startup costs).
What is going on? Have I entered some kafkaesque billing hell?

I installed Bell's internet on August 23, so why is my first month's bill due on September 6 instead of September 23?

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
The Bell Community Forum is a place for you to ask questions, find answers and share your thoughts. It is a peer-to-peer website, As such, I do not have access to your account & billing details.
I will try to explain it as best I can by using an example.
"All of your services are billed a month in advance."
For example, if your account was activated on September 1st and your bill is printed on the 7th, your first invoice will include charges from your installation date of September 1st - September 30th. In addition to your regular monthly charges which are billed one month in advance, your bill will include charges for your usage, rate plan and features from the date you activated or if changes were made to your account. On your bill & also shown in MyBell you will notice a billing date. This date will remain the same each month as part of your monthly billing cycle.
"That means that your first bill could include charges for service for almost two months."
Your first bill will also include any service charges associated with the installation.
Your second and later bills will only include your regular monthly charges plus any fees or changes that you make to your service.
Similarly, when you add, remove or cancel a service or feature in the middle of your billing period, Bell will automatically adjust the charges, so you only pay for the time you subscribed to the service. Typically, you will see a prorated adjustment within 1-2 billing cycles after making the change.
Bell issues your bill each & every month with the same billing date. This date does not change from month to month. If you log into MyBell and check your billing, you will notice that the billing date will be the same each & every month. Your bill is always due 30 days after this date!
Your account is credited when Bell receives the funds from your financial institution. This time line can vary from 1 - 18 days. Although your account may be credited immediately at your financial institution, or even any number of days afterwards, this also depends on your method of payment & when it is paid.
The MyBell site updates bill payments daily after they are received from the bank. This time can vary from 1-4 business days after the payment date. This time frame can be longer depending on the time of day the payment is made with the financial institution, weekends, holidays, & if there any system outages. When Bell receives these funds, your account is credited & it is posted immediately on MyBell.
The chart I have included in this link is only a reference point for you to use. It is intended to allow you sufficient time to pay your bill by the due date.
How long does it take for my Bell payment to be processed?
Hopefully this has been of assistance in answering your question.
Thank you for reaching out to the Bell Community Forum.
Take care.

You could have added a service in which case it's prorated. proration
If it was not added to an existing service, I believe the billing cycle starts from the ordering date, which can be different than the self installed date.
It would have a number to call on the bill or in your Mybell, when in doubt about your billing cycle.

Hi,
I ported my cell phone to Bell July 8. My billing cycle is July 8- August 7. However, the e-bill is already posted and the amount will be taken from my chequing account on July 25. The sales person said that I was going to be billed in 30 days. Why did the bill showed up prior to billing cycle of 30 days? Thanks!
