I need to add Roam Better to my monthly Mobility package. How do I do that….for the US?

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
This is a peer-to-peer website. As such, we do not have access to your account and billing records. Could you please elaborate on your question: "I am going to the the states next week and I am wondering if I will have data while I am there."
- Are you on a Monthly plan?
- Do you have a Bell Smartphone plan that includes Unlimited calling, texting and data in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico?
- If your answer to #2 is no; have you considered adding on Roam Better to your device. With Roam Better – with home data, you can use the data from your Mobility rate plan plus get unlimited talk and text for $13/day in the U.S. (Phones on Prepaid plans will not work in the US and International destinations as roaming is not available for Prepaid.)
You can add Roam Better with home data in MyBell or Text Roam to 8000.
- Roam Better – with home data is available to customers on most monthly plans. It is not available on prepaid plans.
- Roam Better does not cover roaming charges on cruise ships and in-flight services.
If you wish to avoid all out of country charges, the surest method to avoid any roaming charges when you travel is to remove your SIM card. Roaming is only activated once your SIM card connects to a network outside of Canada. Therefore, if you remove your SIM card prior to arriving in the country and connecting to their network, roaming will not be activated.
- Turn your device Airplane mode to on.
- Power your device off & remove your SIM.
- Power your device on.
