Moving SIM card to different device when I have Financed Amount Balance remaining

I have just a simple question, I want to move the sim card to a different phone, I know that I can just simply move the sim card to the other phone and it will have the same number...

but the question is... will I have to pay the remaining Financed Amount Balance of the device that the SIM card was in right away/very soon, or not? or can i continue paying the Monthly Device Payment until its over?

Hey there @J5000

Welcome to the community and great question.

Yes, you can interchange your SIM cards between your phones without it triggering the agreement buyout.

If the other phone is locked, flagged as lost/stolen or linked to a terminated account with an unpaid balance, it will not work and the original owner of the phone will have to contact their original service provider to unlock, remove from the lost/stolen file and/or pay the unpaid balance.

Good Day.

Your question is somewhat ambiguous. I will try to answer your question with the limited details that you have provided. You may be able to move your SIM card to a different device.

You are responsible for any contractual obligations, including payment of any early cancellation fees or outstanding balance.

You may change your plan at any time to one of Bell's available Bring Your Own Device plans and pay your device in full with a one-time payment on the following invoice, ending your device financing arrangement.

If you end your Bell SmartPay Agreement early, then your remaining device payments will become due immediately. If you are ending your Service Agreement at the same time, the remaining balance on your Agreement Credit (plus applicable taxes) will also become due immediately. The Device Return Option Deferred Amount (if applicable) will also come due.

If your service is subject to a commitment period and you cancel it before the end date, a cancellation fee will apply. You can pay off your device by making a onetime payment on MyBell.

Please check out the FAQs section in the attached weblink that I have included at the bottom of this reply.

If you require further clarification & specific details to confirm your outstanding balance, you can call Bell Mobility Customer Service billing & orders at: 1 800 667-0123 or dial *611 from any Bell mobile device.
