Hello,
I receive an email from ebill@bell.ca "Your Bell e-Bill is ready.
My complaint:
Nowhere in the email notification does it acknowledge that I am on pre-authorized payments. Please put a note in the email such as,
"Pre-authorized payment" No Payment Required
Thank you

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
Thank you for posting your suggestion.
The e-Bill notification that you are receiving is somewhat generic and is autogenerated by the Bell billing system.
When the e-bill notification is generated, this reflects your account balance as of your billing date. This is your outstanding balance pending receipt of all methods of payment. All charges and credit received prior to your billing date will be posted & included as part of your account summary.
Payment methods are updatated upon receipt. Pre-authorized payments are not processed in advance of your monthly e-bill as the account balance can vary depending on the charges and any manual payments made prior to your billing date.
Once Bell receives your pre-authorized payment, it is posted immediately, and your account is credited. This information is updated and shown on MyBell in the My bill blue section opening page.
Payments are not posted to your account in advance nor can they be shown on your e-bill until Bell receives your payment from your financial institution and or credit company.
After your payment has been received and posted to your account, you will receive an email notification acknowledging receipt of your payment from Bell.
Let us know if we can be of further assistance.
Take care

It is also possible that is a scam e-mail to get your credentials. I have received a number of those. They look authentic, but they are not. The key tells are the account number may be off. The amount due is not your usual payment. The address on the radio button is not a Bell web site. Confirm your payment type on your MyBell account. Check to see if your e-bill is ready. Confirm that your bill has been paid through your banking software.
