We have a diseased tree in our backyard. The tree is impacting the Bell Right-of-Way and above-ground wires that run along the rear property-line of a number of homes in the area. I am in the process of obtaining an Arborists report and planning on submitting a request to the City for approval to remove the tree.
Question: will Bell assist me with the cost of removing the tree (if the City issues the necessary permit)?

I can't speak for Bell, but as a property owner with trees myself, I have understood that those trees are my responsibility, not Bell's. Electrical utilities may trim trees (Hydro One in Ontario does that) but don't generally take down trees. That is the responsibility of the property owner.
