Scam calls from "Bell Media"?

Keep getting messages saying I have voice mail.  They are from bell media.  Are these legit?  I don’t have access to my landline. They have a link to listen but I never open them.

I can not speak for the messages you are receiving. In todays world there is so much fraud, phishing, number spoofing, etc. The crooks are trying to scam everyone with all of the tools at their disposal.

Bell would never send you an email asking for personal information. Could someone from Bell call you & leave a message? Yes. Can fraudsters do the same yes? Bell will leave a callback number. Fraudsters for the most part will not!
There is no harm in clearing voicemails & returning legitimate calls. The issue is distinguishing one from the other. If unsure, delete the message, call, text, email. Treat as junk. Blocking the number may or may not work.

Keep your personal information to yourself! Do not just hand this out to anyone who calls, emails you, sends a text. Do not open web links that are masked & sent to you in texts & emails!

Caution is the better part of valour! Rather to be safe than sorry!

Today at 4:21 I received a phone call from 1-888-828-9685 and I suspect it's a scam call. It's a recorded message claiming my "Bell Media" account is about to be disconnected, then instructed me to select 1 for English and 2 for Mandarin.

I hung up without pressing anything, but this is something people need to be aware of. Unfortunately, my mom was someone who would have pressed 1.
