My ipad bill currently has the CR thing and I'd like to know if I were to trade-in the ipad to apple, would I have to cancel the plan on my ipad or?

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
A CR is a good thing!. If you have a credit on your account it will be applied to your next bill. At Bell Mobility, you can "Bring your own Device."
If you own the device, it is entirely up to you whether you trade your iPad with Apple & or continue on with your current plan. If you purchase a device from elsewhere, you can choose to keep your current device, renew or change to a different plan. Your Bell account credit will always be applied to your mobility account balance.

Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post.
The Community will need some clarification as to what you mean by CR thing.
If you choose to trade-in your current iPad, it depends on the solution you pick while being in store;
- If you choose to do a trade-in upgrade, then your current iPad solution on your account would be updated to your new solution with the new iPad.
- If you choose to do a regular trade-in with no monthly solution, you would be responsible to contact us to put a closure to your current iPad agreement.
