The add-on of 10 channels for $26... Can I have two of these? ( 20 channels for $52 )
The rental of Whole Home PVR , $15/mo with Starter package. Does the rental fee end after 60 months?
Does "Whole Home PVR" mean that there's another box that's not a PVR, but can access recordings from the main PVR box?
Thanks for any info. I tried on-line chat but gave up waiting.

Good Day & Welcome to the Community Forum.
You have jumbled a lot of items in to 3 sentences that require a lot more clarification than I may be able to provide you in this limited space & time that I have.
Add-ons channels are $29.50 for 10 channels. It may be more advantageous & reasonably priced wise, for you to select a package that is somewhat different.
The monthly subscription fee of $15/mo. does not end after 60 months. This package is only available to Fibe Internet clients with select packages.
Can you elaborate on the 60 months you are mentioning? Are you talking about the equipment rental fee for continuous Bell TV rental after 60 months? This disappears if you subscribe to Bell TV & are renting the same equipment for 60 continuous months.
The whole home box is just that. It is a Cloud PVR. If you have the appropriate devices, then you can access the the PVR recordings, etc.
I would suggest that you do one of three things that I can only recommend for you to do:
- Visit a Bell store to seek out & view exactly what you might be of interest to you.
- Contact Bell Fibe TV Customer Service by calling; Contact Bell | Bell Mobility, Internet, TV and Home phone | Bell Canada
- would you know someone who has what you are interested in signing up to? Ask a friend or someone close toy you for their advise & opinion?
There are so many variables & options open to you that it is far more important to me that you have a complete understanding of what you want, the cost & the conditions rather than me trying to recommend & suggest something that you may or may not need, want or can afford.
If I could do more to answer your question, I would more than gladly do so.
Your posting is not that simple to answer.
Let me know if I can provide something further.
Thank you for being a member of the community forum.
Take care.

Thank you for the response.
I realize that I have some non-normal requirements,...
I don't want a wifi connected TV STB, I have ethernet wired connections to TV room. Wifi is troublesome in my house, I already have 2 repeaters for standard internet, and don't want to add more just for TV.
I don't want to pay for any sports channels that I will never watch.
Looking at the fibe-tv packages, I can have the exact same channels that I now have with Shaw-Direct satellite if I take the Starter package and add 20 ALC channels and US nets.
In my research, I found the 10 ALC channels for $26.

Also, I assumed that the 4K Whole Home PVR has a HDD, and is not a cloud device. There's mention of the 60 month rental here...

So perhaps it's best that I get in the car and drive the 1/2 hour to the nearest Bell store to see and demo the equipment and ask the questions.
