Accessing Netflix on gifted 9500 receiver, uses previous owners Netflix account

I was gifted a 9500 receiver and when accessing Netflix app from channel 1267. When Netflix starts up its using the previous owner Netflix account. Any idea on how it can be change to use my Netflix account.

Good Day.

When you received this 9500 receiver as a gift, did you do a factory reset? I will assume that the receiver has been transferred & is now registered to your account.

If not, then you will need to contact Bell Satellite TV to register this receiver at: 1 888 759-3474

You can make these changes by following these instructions.

To exit and sign out of Netflix:

  1. Press the BACK button on your Bell TV remote.
  2. Select the gear icon.
  3. Navigate to Sign Out and press Select or OK.

You’ll go back to the channel you were previously watching. If you sign out, you’ll need to log in again the next time you use the Netflix app.

Satellite TV:

There are two ways for you to access the Netflix app:

Option 1
  1. Press the Apps button on the remote of your 9500 receiver to bring up the Apps menu.
  2. Scroll up until you see Netflix and press Select to launch the app.
Option 2
  • Go to channel 1267 and press Select to launch the Netflix app.
