Channel switcher feature does not work on the F1 TV app

Hey race fans!

I just switched to Bell Fibe and to my disappointment, turns out the channel switcher feature does not work on the F1 TV app. I have a pro subscription with F1 and this is annoying not having the app work correctly.  The channel switcher allows you to view different broadcasts, including helmet cams, all from within the app.

I confirmed with F1 that the box provider has to allow this feature to work. Any chance Bell will allow this app to work properly? Or, has anyone got the switcher working?

Cheers.

Good Day.

Unfortunately, F1 TV is not supported by Bell. F1 TV is available for viewing on the web, Apple & Google apps, Google TV, Apple TV, Roku and Amazon Fire TV.

The channel switching feature is not compatible on Bell Fibe TV.

Take care.

You can always do a factory reset on the box on the right side you should see the button to navigate to it. Just follow instructions.  Dose not take but a few minutes and possible it wasn't set up right. Just my two cents.i did that on mine for a different reason and it fixed the issue. Sometimes bell techs are in a hurry and don't set up thing right.

Thanks @WelshTerrier , I saw that info already but in speaking to F1 support, they indicated that the box provider (Bell) would be preventing the app from working properly. Now I am curious to understand why Bell has restricted this.

Luckily I have a Fire Stick as well so I can still watch F1 on my TV, I just wanted to do everything from one box; one remote; one source (I was told by Bell that I could...)

Cheers!
