Fibe TV Android App and Menu Access?

My slim remote for the VIP2502 is getting funky so I've been using the Bell Fibe TV app on my Samsung Phone.   It's ok but there is one function that is missing.

How do you access the menu feature?

So with my slim remote I can press Menu and the side pops up with Trending Now, Recordings ,,, Settings option.  This settings is for the actual VIP2502.   I want to be able to enable CC using the Fibe TV app.  .It I select Settings from the app it controls Closed Captioning for the app ... not the TV.

I've googled searched and the Bell support site says select the menu to get to Settings > Accessibility > CC  ... BUT HOW?

On the actual slim remote there is an options button that you can flip CC on and off but there is no options button on the App nor is there a means to get to the VIP2502 Settings.

Can someone from Bell please comment is this is an oversight or am I missing some magical sequence of buttons to get to the Menu for the VIP2502 using the app?

Good Day.

The Fibe TV App on your Samsung phone does not have the Menu settings that are available with the Slim remote that controls your VIP 2502 & TV.

You can access the Accessibility features by selecting the gear icon on the Fibe TV app Home screen. E.g. Closed caption, Described video, etc.

You can set CC on or off on the Fibe TV App. Your Samsung phone does not have the same controls & menu settings that are bult into the Slim remote and VIP 2502 receiver.

You will need to order a replacement Slim remote control from Bell. Remotes | Fibe TV | Bell Canada

Take care.

Thanks Welsh.  I figured that was the case but this support article says different.  Bell needs to remove it

Good Day.

Heh. No problem. Thank you for your reply. Glad to have been of assistance. The link posted references the Fibe TV App if it is installed on an Android TV.

How to turn on closed captioning and described video with the Fibe TV app on Android TV

Take care.
