Option button on VIP7802 Voice Remote

Hi,

On the 'Slim' remote, there is a button called 'option'. On the 'Voice' remote, the 'option' button is NOT present.
Is there a key combination equivalent on the 'Voice' remote ?
Thanks

Thanks but as you can see in your link, it does not show or explain how to get the equivalent of the 'options' button. Thanks

Try press “ok” button while watching a show. It should work like other Android TV.

So to recap this. On the vocal remote, the options button is not there. But there are 2 functions that people are searching

1) Changing date quickly in the guide: this can be performed by holding the fast-forward (or skip) button at the bottom of the remote.

2) Changing guide from all channel to favorites only: This is where it is tricky. This is done while OUTSIDE of the guide. You have to be in viewing mode and hit the right arrow. It will give you the same "guide" panel, and you will be able to toggle between all channel and favorites. then you can enter the guide and see the channels you requested. In that panel, you can also add/remove the channel you are watching from your favorites.

While the Bell guides tell us how to build a favorite list, it's not that clear how to use it properly. I found the second info in a bell page so it is documented, but not in the most viewed help page. I hope posting it here will help others.

good luck with that not so user friendly system bell purchased.

Hi there @AlexS
Upon checking into this further, depending on the channel guide options you're choosing it may be overriding your favorites list. Under the guide settings, this should be set to "View all channels" and then enable your favorites list by the following steps: Live tv (watch something) > hit the right arrow on the remote to open the settings > Guide settings > Select favorites list.
Hope this helps.

Yeah that’s probably the case. I know how to adjust the settings, but don’t wanna set up the list repeatedly lol.

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to raise a concern about the new Bell Fibe TV voice-command remote, specifically regarding the absence of an "Options" button. With the previous remote, the "Options" button allowed me to customize my viewing experience easily, especially helpful for navigating only my favourite channels. Now, without this button, I find myself needing to scroll through all available channels, many of which I don’t watch or are in other languages, just to access my favourites.

This limitation significantly reduces convenience, as I enjoy casually scrolling through only my preferred channels without unnecessary interruptions. Although it may seem like a minor inconvenience, small usability issues like this can add up, making the viewing experience less enjoyable overall.

I've spoken with Bell representatives multiple times about this, and they've confirmed there's currently no workaround or solution available.

I'm hoping this feedback might encourage Bell to reconsider this design choice or offer an alternative solution.

Thanks for listening
