Recording TV Shows

I have been trying to record TV shows on my Fibre TV.  When I select a show, it invites me to either pick the individual show or both new and repeat versions of the series.  Each time I have made the selection I want, but when I go back to the guide there is no indication that the show has been marked for recording. Also, once the show has been broadcast, it does not appear in my list of Recordings.

What am I doing wrong?

Good Day.

Before you can record / add a new program or series, it must be available to schedule on your TV Guide. You can make changes to existing recording and series. Changes that you do make to an existing scheduled recording can be saved but will not record until available in your TV Guide.

Keep in mind if the scheduling changes, date, time, channel, etc., for a previously scheduled program, there is no guarantee that it will record in the new season.

It is best for you to reconfirm that this series is scheduled correctly when it appears in the Guide.

Take care.

How do I find the timers that are set.   IE they are not scheduled because the show is not on yet.   They are set , and will run when the starts the new season.   I cant see where to find them.  Using FIBE box and the app.

Good Day & Welcome

In order to best answer your question, please describe in detail what it is you would like to do with recordings? Please tell more about the receiver, device or equipment that you are using. E.g. Fibe TV VIP7802, Bell Streamer, Fibe TV app, etc.

  1. Are you looking to cancel previous recordings?
  2. Change previously scheduled series or individual programs?
  3. Schedule a new or upcoming show that is not available at this time?
  4. Delete a scheduled program or series?

Before you can record / add a new program or series, it must be available to schedule on your TV Guide. You can make changes to existing recording and series. Changes that you do make to an existing scheduled recording can be saved but will not record until available in your TV Guide.

I have the bell vip7802.  I am trying to see the scheduled recording settings for a series which at this point does not have any currently scheduled showing.   Ie. a series which I set last year to record, and it will record the current year series when it appears in the schedule, say in December.    I want to ensure I have it set so I will not miss the first episode of the new season.      When I had satellite I could get a list of all timers set, regardless of whether anything was scheduled.
