Recordings from Unsubscribed Channels under Fibe TV

Is there anyone know if switching any channels in the a la carte won't resulted in previous recordings being erased? What about channels in the time-shift, movies & series as well as international?

I've tried to replace BBC World News before finish recording a show. The recording is complete since the starting time and works fine after the change took effect. But I know the restart feature varies by programs and channels, so is keeping the recordings the same?

I'm in mtl and have recorded NTV's Christmas Parade. OMNIs r my families' regulars and r in the time-shift pack too, but we don't have shows to watch everyday. I want to record the Santa Claud show on CTV2 as well since my dvr messed up when it was on the local station. Planning to order time-shift only once in a while.

I've asked agents by chats however they always give me contradicting answers and don't want to take any chances. Looking forward to any reply!

Hey @AlexS. Thanks for your post, and welcome to the Community. That's a great question. 🙂

If you decide to cancel any TV channel after you've already recorded some shows you should still have the recordings saved in your list.

Have a nice day.

Emm it’s a unfinished thread, but later I came across different articles about the history of tv recordings suggesting that unexpired recordings probably have been like this since the very beginning, until in recent years data are shifting to cloud, so recordings start to have different shelf-life periods.
