Satellite TV - how long for activation after install?

I just Oder bell satellite today and still waiting for it to work it’s been a couple of hours now how long does it take to connect

 Once your dish is aligned and you have your channels subscribed it should be immediately, your programing should come in

  1. You mentioned that you ordered Bell Satellite today. How did you order it? Did you call Bell Customer Service or visit a Bell Store?
  2. Was the satellite dish & receiver previously installed & setup by Bell TV?
  3. Make sure that all connections to the satellite dish and TV are complete before activating your receiver.
  4. Do you have Satellite TV service set up on your MyBell account?
  5. Which satellite receivers do you have?
  6. SmartCards for your receivers? Are they activated?
