Where are the on-demand FREE movies that show on my Bell Streamer, not on my 5662 receiver?

Why does my Bell Streamer let me see free on-demand movies on the main guide for the TV channels i am subscribed too, but i can't find the same on my main Bell Fibe PVR box?  Like channel 1200 that has On-demand TV shows, there should be one for On-demand movies for the TV channels inam subscribed to. THAT ARE FREE, NOT RENTALS.  I watched Charlie Chaplin movie on-demand using my Bell Streamer but can't find it on my main Bell Fibe PVR receiver.

Hey there @BobbyBoy,

Thanks for your reply 🙂

While the On Demand section looks a little different between the Bell Streamer and the 5662 receiver, you still have access to most of the same On Demand content.

When you press the On Demand button on your remote (or tune into channel 1000), the On Demand section will appear and you will see different categories to choose from on the left. Simply use the Up and Down button on your remote to scroll through. If you don't see a title right away you can also use the Search function to find a specific show or movie.

Please let the Community know if we can help you with anything else.

Thanks for the help again but i just wanted to point out the difference that if one owns a Bell PVR receiver, they wouldn't NOT see the same content available" on-demand" for movies at least, compared to the Bell App Streamers.

So i solved my issue by installing a Chromecast Google TV box ($40) also on my main TV as my Bell Fibe PVR receiver.  Mainly to install the Paramount+ App, that is NOT AVAILABLE YET ON BELL PVR receiver!! which .s if you want other streaming platforms than Netflix or Prime. Then installed the Bell Fibe app on the Chromecast.

Hey there @BobbyBoy

Thank you for reaching out to the Bell Community.

Can you share which TV receiver you are using?

The Bell Vibe receiver unit on the front displays 4K then small letters VIP5662W.  Do you understand my question? The Bell Vibe App and Streamers have a side menu below the guide, Shows, Movie, etc. The on-demand movies will also base from the channels i get like CTV movies.  However on my main Fibe receiver i can easily go to channel 1200 for TVshows on-demand, but no channel for movies on-demand for channels like CTV, Space etc that i see thru the Bell Streamer.  Meaning my main rental Bell Fibe PVR box lacks this content that i should be getting with my TVchannels that i subscribe to. I checked the remote on-demand button and those channels like CTVmovies do not appear

Unfortunately most are the same yes but NOT ALL (that is my point) , it is missing the CTV channel Movies on Demand on channel 1000 (which there are many!!)

Hi there @BobbyBoy,

Can you clarify which titles you are not able to locate on your 4k receiver? Did you use the Search function and key in the name of the show/movie as well?

Hi Patricia, i appreciate your help! I mentioned i have an alternative by using the Chromecast then enter the Bell Fibe app aside from my using my Bell Receiver.  My point that the Bell App see's all Channels i am subscribed to, while the Receiver and Channel 1000 does not. On the Bell App, the Screen menu, go to Movies Tab on the left, then Channels above (beside Rentals). I can scroll all Channels i receive, CTV, CityTv, etc, then ""CTVmovies"" beside CTVcomedy. The specific movie list will change, but there are at least 100+ titles (Chaplin, Chicago, Cosmopolis, Crossword Mystery, is the 'C list in subsection Drama).

This does not solve the issue. I am having it as well. When I go to on demand or channel 1000 , the CTV movies are not there. I cannot access them from the box using any of the available search functions.
