Young and the Restless only records four out of five days each week

I have a daily series to be recorded, it will not record on Thursday.  The recording is set for 5 days it only records 4.Only this program which is Young and the Restless.  Can you explain why this is happening or give me a solution to remedy this problem.

Does this happen each week?

If the episode has not been clearly marked as a New episode in the episode description the receiver could assume that you already have the episode recorded and skip the recording.
