pausing a program on bell Fibe to resume watching later...

I watch Bell Fibe on my computer and I don't have a PVR.

If I press pause on a program and go out for dinner, will I be able to resume watching the program later? I have an app on my computer so that it will not go into sleep mode. Will the program resume without problem two hours later, for example?

thanks

So you are with the ALT or Fibe TV app pack, right? I heard the latter has a very short buffer allowance, but for ALT TV, it’s 90 min. And if you had a Bell Streamer and tune in late, you used be able rewind before the cut-in time at a speed of 10s per press or 10s/s when long-press, but Bell fixed it about one year ago.

For the app, you are fine as long as you click on the channel you were watching if you ever need to relaunch the app. However, I believe you have to keep the browser tag on all the time. You’d better not to visit other website without a new page. I stopped using the browser and mobile devices long ago because I found the pic quality is always worse than the TV cause the highest option’s data usage isn’t the same even they all bear good, better and best. The computer keyboard used to be unable to function like other video platforms and the closed captions on the website can’t be customized.

How long can you Pause Live TV on Fibe TV (not with the box)?
