Good Day.
A Shaw pvr is not an External HD is it a pvr. There is a hard drive in the Shaw pvr. There is no method of connecting & reconfiguring it to be a standalone External HD. It is definitely not compatible with Bell 9500 Whole Home PVR.
How to transfer content from my PVR onto an external device (9500 Whole Home PVR) (bell.ca)
Take care.
