Also, here can see that I don't detect the HH3k's SSID's on my phone so I assume that means they are turned off and not broadcasting. The SSID would be Bell834 if it was turned on - but it's turned off.
So I still wonder how are devices connecting to a Wi-Fi this turned off?

Ok, done that. How does that explain the two devices connecting a Wi-Fi that's turned off?!

if I remember correctly they are not actually connected. Hence why the WiFi signal strength is showing 0 bars.
The information should also be greyed out.
You can test this by turning it back on and connecting the same device. It should show a signal strength indication and it should not be greyed out anymore.

Thank you for your questions. Your SSID is always broadcast. I am not clear on what else you are asking. Can you clarify?

I dont need a ai mean you can hide my wireless network. I only use a Lan connection, so my modem is broadcasting a wireless network for everyone to see. I was hacked and while back so I don't want to broadcast my SSID. I want to either want my network name to be hidden, or turn off the wifi network completely

Thank you for the clarification. If you only use your LAN connection or a "wired" connection, you can log into to your modem dashboard by using your browser and
- Clicking on http://192.168.2.1/ .
- Then enter the password found on the back of your modem, if you have not changed it.
- Click on the "Manage my WiFi" tile.
- Turn off "Whole Home WiFi".
- Click on Save.
- Acknowledge the warning if one appears.
- Log of and log in to your modem.
The Giga Hub has several hidden WiFi channels which can not be turned off. This is for Fibe TV.
It is extremely unusual for WiFi to be hacked. Current encryption protocols are sufficient for consumer use. You can use the PPPoE pass through ability of the Giga Hub to install your own router behind the Giga Hub (use the 10Gb port for best speed) if you wish.

I need to turn the WiFi off here and there for break for my kids. Is there a way to do that on the app and not just unplug the modem or something? Thanks for any help.

Is there a way to turn off 6E on gigahub? Girlfriend phone always connects to 6E Wi-Fi and it's very glitchy. My phone is always on wifi 6 and there are no issues.
Any thoughts or comments are helpful, thanks.
