I have just paid my first bill since returning to Bell. Imagine my surprise when I saw that there will be a rate increase (6$) in February. I am not impressed. If this is how you're going to operate, I may have to reconsider my move back to Bell.

I am with you on this. Really annoyed no special pricing for Seniors and they said because I don't have a contract the price is the price. I could barely understand her. I thought that there was no need to have contracts now

I’m just wondering why the bills keep constantly increasing when there is no improvement to service or quality. I live in Northern Ontario and the service here definitely should be refunded more times then I should have to keep paying these increased amounts. I don’t understand why my bill can just be altered without offering some sort of alternative. What if the new price is too expensive (like everything else right now)? How are you as a provider allowed to charge for “service updates” when I went without any service for about 2 days earlier this month.

@Confused9 Until there is more competition, it will never change. I actually took the time to read their annual reports: landline and tv services are in decline, internet numbers are stable, and all growth is coming from mobility service. To offset the decline, expect significant annual increases.

As my monthly plan payment increased $6 compared to the last billing cycle. it was a complete disappointment I talked to the agent and loyalty department. no one was able to help. Loyalty department said in third page of your billing cycle there was a month notification about this increase. Is this a joke. I love bell but I will be looking for other options.

Since you are increasing the prices again, maybe you could actually take the money and fix the Fibe app for Apple TV.

bell is dead to me now.
they only offer plans with either 130 gb per month or no gigs prepaid and 20$ per gig???? i need 40-50 gb per month max, they don't offer such a plan for some reason (oh wait the reason is price gorging)
I use on average 17 gig per mth. maxed out this year at 37 one month. easy to avoid.
Many chats with bell customer service lead to 'connecting me' to the loyalty dept. Each connection was ONLY to the general call in line 800-667-0123 - not EVER the loyalty dept. Had to go through multiple agents to reach loyalty who told me this is what we offer. No shame in telling me that a 30 year account doesn't deserve a break (don't care) big corporations don't care, they only want money.
EVERY competing phone provider has a plan of 50-60/70 gb per month at around 45-50 dollars. bell only offer 130 gb for $88 or no gigs for 45???? ( no gig plan charge $20/gig of usage)
Nothing in the middle, no chance of a middle ground plan, they only want your money...where is the 50 gig plan that every other carrier has (fido, virgin, freedom, rogers!)?.
Trust me fido, virgin, freedom and even rogers (hold my breathe) have better monthly plans at lower costs. bell is dead to me after 30 PLUS YEARS OF SAME NUMBER...they (bell) have effectively lost my business due to poor options, canned customer service and essentially too big to fail attitude. I'm onto new and better services at lower costs...and don't blah blah blah me about networks and crap, every company uses the same networks, they all have the same connectivity. you have nothing to offer customers other than over priced plans and poor customer service.
bell has failed me for the last time and I will never look back...Porting my number to a competitor asap and bell is dead to me.

I was lied to as well by the sales representative from Bell. He promised me my rate would "occasionally increase, following inflation". My bill increased by 20% in a single year. Inflation was more like 4%. Blatant direct lies are how I was coerced into subscribing to Bell. What an insulting business practice. This is clearly a widespread problem at this company, so how about the bosses change their policies to something more human. I genuinely hate this company now.

Writing
Very disappointed with Bell. I recently noticed a $6 increase on my bill. When I contacted the Customer Care Loyalty Department, I was told that a advance notice regarding the change was included on the third page of my bill and that there was nothing they could do about it. I am now seriously considering switching to another provider. It’s disappointing to see how loyal customers are being treated.

I too saw that increase but when I got the notice didn't figure it affected me as I just signed up with BELL in Dec 2025 and when I did I was told my monthly price was locked in for the 2yrs that it would not change......Apparently that was misinformation

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
Thank you for posting your question.
This is a community forum, a peer-to-peer site. As such, we do not have access to your account or billing records.
I wish I could assist you further in this matter, but I cannot. Billing questions such as this cannot be handled on this website. A service representative is in a better position to assist you.
Pricing change notifications are sent out at least 30 to 90 days in advance. Notices can be seen directly through your MyBell account.
If you wish to see these, then you would need to:
- Sign into your MyBell account
- Select "My bills and payments"
- Select "Past bills"
- Select the "View" button beside the bill that you would like to see
- At the top there will be spot that says "Messages for _______" and a (+) sign that you can click to review the important messages.
I can only suggest that you contact Bell Customer Service to discuss if there any potential savings opportunities being offered at this time to reduce your costs. E.g. Promotions, bundling, etc.
Please contact Bell Customer Service Accounts & billing by: Chat or by calling: 1-866-310-BELL (2355) or dial #611 from any Bell mobile device.
Take care.
