On the Fibe app program guide, there are programs with the house icon in the corner that say they can only be watched at home while connected to wi-fi, and I’m unable to watch them. But I am at home on wi-fi and without a VPN. Why would I be restricted from these?

Good day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum
You are correct. Channel availability will depend on whether you are at home or on the go.
All channels on Fibe TV are not necessarily available on the Fibe app.
- At home, connected to Bell Wi-Fi : Live TV, video on demand and recordings.
- Away from home, on another Internet connection or on Bell wireless internet : Live TV (select content), video on demand and recordings.
Please reference the following web link that I have included below. Open the section called: Using the Fibe TV App. The information is explained in this section.
What is Fibe TV app and how do I use it? (bell.ca)
Take care.

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum
That is correct. Some live TV channels cannot be viewed on the Fibe TV app when you are away from home. This cannot be changed. This is a licensing agreement regulation.
Fibe TV customers:
- At home: Live TV, video on demand and recordings.
- Away from home: Live TV (select content), video on demand and recordings.
Fibe TV App customers:
- At home: Live TV and video on demand.
- Away from home: Live TV (select content) and video on demand.
Please reference the section Using the Fibe TV app in the web link below.

We have been watching many shows on CityTV while using Bell Fibe App on our TV, but today it's missing. When we use our Bell Receiver we can watch it, but no longer shows up on Bell Fibe App. I have gone to settings to make sure all channels are visible and no favourites are chosen.
We have uninstalled the app, and reloaded it, and also reset the Receiver by holding the power button for 5 seconds.
Anyone else have the same problem?

Hi there @MoiraRob
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community.
Just to confirm, you can watch CityTV live on your receiver, but when you attempt to watch it via the Fibe TV app, you're completely missing the channel from your guide?
Which television service do you subscribe to and which receiver model do you have?
What device are you attempting to use the Fibe TV app on?
Looking forward to hearing back.

Yes that's all correct, we can watch it from a Receiver but not on our app, yet we've been watching it through the app for a few months now.
We subscribe to "better" plan
Receiver model is 9500
We use our TV to watch the Fibe TV app.
Many thanks!

Hi there @MoiraRob
Some channels provide the ability to watch the station on the Fibe TV app, whether at home or out of home. Some stations only allow viewing on the receiver or on the Fibe TV app while connected to your home internet through Bell (WHI / Wireless Home Internet excluded). For a full list of the available stations at home and on the go, we'd recommend checking out our site
(scroll down and click on view all channels where it shows 500 at home / 450 on the go). CityTV currently at this time is only available for at home viewing, which would be on the receiver. In home viewing also does apply to the Fibe TV app, but Fibe TV and Fibe internet services are required.

This doesn't make sense to me. I have been off of Bell's internet (wi-fi) for over a year and have had access to all the channels I subscribed to on my home PVR as well as on all devices using the FibeTV app. This change became evident yesterday for me.
The idea that the FibeTV app allows paying customers access to their paid for services while (taken from the Bell support tech litterally) "on the go" doesn't allow some channels to be viewed on the go is contradictory to its marketing.
This worked for me for a year while at home or on the go. Now they broke it.

Hi there @Beushy
Are there any stations in particular that you are trying to access on the Fibe TV app that should be available and you're not able to watch them (as per the list)?

Yes, several that I have had access to for a year:
1204, 1220, 1221 1222, 1223, 1224 to name a few.
All were working 2 days ago.

Hi there @Beushy
All the stations you have indicated are all showing in the list that they are at home viewing only. These channels would need to be watched directly on the receiver or through the Fibe TV app (while at home and connected to your Bell Fibe internet).
