Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum
Call Screen, part of the Call Privacy package, lets you redirect calls from up to 12 phone numbers to a recording that tells callers you aren't taking calls at this time. Your phone doesn't ring, and the screened caller is unable to leave a message.
How to turn Call Screen on and off.
- Dial *60 (1160 on a rotary phone). A voice message will let you know whether your list is on or off.
- Press 3 to turn your list on or off. Remember: The list must be turned on to stop unwanted callers.
How to add a caller to your list.
- Dial *60 (1160 on a rotary phone).
- Respond to the voice prompts by pressing #0, #1 (12, 01 on a rotary phone).
How to remove a caller from your list.
- Dial *60 (1160 on a rotary phone).
- Press 1 to hear the list of unwanted callers (11 on a rotary phone).
- Press 7 to remove a number from the list.
Note : Call Screening may not be possible for:
- Unknown numbers
- Some mobile phone numbers
- Some toll free numbers
- Calls from other local or long distance service providers
- Overseas phone numbers
Enjoy & take care.
