Hi there @Insurman2
Thank you for your post.
Not all numbers can be transferred and you would need to have an order started to find out if the mobile number can be ported over to a home phone line. Depending on the area code and telephone prefix, it may or may not be available.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Community.

Good Day.
Just to make sure I clearly understand your request.
- Your mother does not have Home phone service.
- She wants to establish Home phone service.
- Your mother has Bell Mobility cellular service & wishes to disconnect this service & port this number for her new Home phone service.
If she wishes to make these changes, she will need to arrange for the installation of her Home phone service with the disconnect of her mobility service. To make these changes she need to contact Bell Customer Service. Not all numbers can be transferred, and she would need to have an order started to find out if the mobile number can be ported over to a home phone line.
Please call: 1 866 310-BELL (2355) or dial *611 from any Bell mobile device to discuss this with a Bell representative.
Take care.

It was a home phone number before it was transfered to a cell, and a local phone no.
