Hi; I have received a number of calls today from people claiming they received Robo Calls from my home number. Is there anything I can do to stop this? I don't want to change my home number but will if that's the only option.

This happened to me twice, no service provider can stop this it is scammers spoofing numbers. I contacted the RCMP fraud department as they need this info for tracking and changed my voicemail explaining I had not called anyone and that it was reported and if they were truly trying to reach me then to call my cell. I had to unplug all the phones for a couple of days and wait for it to pass. The scammers then rolled onto the next number after mine, a lot of people in my community were hit at the same time.

And the same thing is happening here as well. Everyday I am getting 5 or 6 calls saying that they received a call from my home number, and it was not me. What can be done about this?

The same thing is happening to me. It seems that telemarketers like the Duct Cleaners and other fraudulent characters are spoofing phone numbers and making calls to people using those spoofed numbers so they can't be traced back to their own number.
WHEN IS BELL GOING TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS?
