Guard is AI-driven security for devices on your Whole Home Wi-Fi network. Powered by cloud-based real-time protection algorithms and intelligence based on machine learning, Guard neutralizes threats throughout the home. Security features inherently require information to protect your devices, and these features are designed to respect you and your data privacy. You’re in full control of enabling, disabling and customizing these features.
Guard features monitor your device network for metadata like DNS, IP address and packet sizes. When enabled, the Guard feature is only active when devices are connected to the primary Bell Wi-Fi.
Guard features include
Online protection helps block your devices from accessing websites known to contain malware, botnets, spyware, spam, phishing, keyloggers, monitoring, proxy avoidance and other harmful attacks. It is possible for apps to be blocked along with websites. In most cases, you’ll see a “page cannot be displayed” timeout message.
Advanced IoT protection monitors and automatically quarantines smart devices from the local network if unusual behaviour is detected.
Remote access protection automatically blocks incoming connections into home devices until you authorize them.

- Kid: Sensitive content not appropriate for kids 12 and under will be blocked. This includes the Teen Profile content above, plus social media/networking, messaging, chat rooms, political, shopping and financial sites.
