Hello,

I having issue with a specific email, that I'm unable to delete and it keeps coming back.  its an auto-reply message from meeting invite.  I tried forwarding it to my wife's (bell.net) and its now doing the same thing to her email inbox.

I also am getting errors on my trash folder as well (unexpected error has occurred) and (webtop error)  can someone help us delete this problematic email in webmail.

thanks

Hello, @BellPatricia.  I access Bell Webmail through Firefox on a Windows desktop and also using the email client on an iPhone.  Both devices are synchronized the same and show the same current message list.  My concern is that I subscribe to several auto-generated emails and I have not been receiving them from various senders.  I stopped receiving most of these messages around the beginning of July.  They are not found in my Inbox or Junk folder.  It seems as if a broad email filter was applied and started blocking the auto-generated messages.  This is causing me great concern.  The previous suggestions in this thread do not seem to address this issue.  Please help to investigate further.

I use both a Mac desktop and an iPad for my Sympatico email. Somehow the two devices are out of sync and when I login to Webmail on the desktop it always shows a negative number (!) of unread messages in my Inbox. Clearing both caches does not work. Neither does logging out and logging in again on both devices. Is there a way to fix this problem so that the correct number of unread emails is displayed?

Thank you for the additional information @justaguy.

Have you checked your blocked senders/sites to be sure they haven't been added to the block list. For more information check out where is blocked senders list?Opens in a new tab or window

Do you still see (-1) unread messages in Bell Webmail?

Hi there,
I have a similar situation, but the opposite: my webmail always shows 2 extra unread messages in addition to the ones that are unread, or just 2 unread emails when the inbox is empty.

Anyone else in the same situation?

I have this same problem with a malware email - not sure why it keeps coming back but I delete it and less than a minute later - its back, while it says it has 0 bytes for content the link to trouble is still there.

It WILL NOT show on Bell Web Mail. It just show there is something that is trying to load but it never does - it does and Mac Mail on my iMac and I  have doen everything by the boo and cannot get rid of it.

I posted something on this a few years back. I had my Bell Mail synched with Gmail and when I received a new email it was read by both servers. I deleted it from Bell after reading it. Then because Gmail also received it Gmail sent it to Bell not recognizing it came from there originally and it looked like the delete on Bell wasn't working. It was being read a second time as new mail.

Did you ever get it deleted. The one I have is interesting as I did not have this computer when this spam email first showed up.

I go to the Bell server which the source review says is Microsoft Exchange (likely) and it says this is actually set to repeat FOREVER, I kid you not.

The other thing I find interesting in going through these forums is how many of the problems pointed out I have experienced - more or less everyone.

Bell is one thing thin gif not reactive, they are consistent at randomly creating problems they eventually sometimes fix and never respond to the people who raise VALID issue. I use only their server - IMAP with Mac Mail as the email client but I always go to Bell Web Mail first to clean out the spam about 4 to 5 every day - same thing over and over but with different underlying email addresses.

Can someone help please. I have an email in my deleted folder that keeps trying to load. when I try to delete it it tells me to wait for email to load. its been like this for several days

I am trying to delete old emails from my bell email account.  It will delete some and then seems to get caught in a loop and just keeps circling.  Then I get a Webtop error.  Does anyone know how to correct this?
