Can't send Hotmail emails on my iPhone 14

I can’t send emails on my iPhone 14 but I can receive emails?

Thanks for the details, 

If you're attempting to use the built in email app provided by Apple; Check out Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touchOpens in a new tab or window to make sure it was set up properly.

We've also found the following thread on the Microsoft forum; Check out Hotmail issues since 1/1/2022 across iPhone and Laptop/web - won't send/receive/delete emailsOpens in a new tab or window to learn more.

If you're using a third party email app, we suggest reaching out to the app creators for support.

In order for the Community to best assist, some clarifications will be needed;

  • Is your phones IOS updated to it's latest version?
  • Which email service are you attempting to use?
  • Are you trying to use a third party email app?
  • what troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?

I am up to date with the iOS 16.5, I use hotmail? 
I’ve texted bell, & now I’m on this forum.

I am using Bell email on my iPad and when I send an email I get a message saying the server needs a password.  So I enter my email password again, and it still won’t work

Is your iPad up to date with the latest firmware?
How are you attempting to access your Bell email (what app, browser)?
Are you able to share a screenshot of the message you are receiving? please hide any sensitive or personal information.
