Has this happened to anyone else?
I was coming to the close of a VERY long (& important) email to 3 people, when suddenly the screen turned white and my email just DISAPPEARED! It was full of specs, important info, etc., and took me about an hour to write it.
I was "this close" to sending it, when, poof, it was gone. Of course the first thing I did was look in my Drafts folder, and there I found the email to my 3 recipients, but the 1st paragraph ONLY had been saved.
I looked everywhere - Sent (just in case I'd sent it before I was finished), Recycle Bin, even Spam, but my incredibly detailed email that I'd never be able to recreate due to it's length and specific content, is no where to be found. I saw no Error Code, and the dreaded "An Unexpected Error has occurred" message did not pop up (I've lost my share of emails to this error - you find it in drafts, but discover that paragraph 1 of 12 only was saved).
I dedicated an hour to writing this important email, and "something" happened when I was oh SO close to sending it, with no warning or error code to caution/warn me that my last hour of work just ghosted - NEVER to be found again.
I cannot express how frustrated and gob-smacked that my very detailed and important email just "disappeared!"
I wish I had the time to start over (another hour to spend) and I REALLY wish I had the memory to recreate it.
Has anyone using bell.net had their email disappear into the either, never to be seen again?
If I were not so tired and discouraged, I'd be really, really upset AND angry!
Thanks,
Janet

Good Day.
All I can say is sorry. A lot of hard work & effort that you put in to this email has been lost. I can offer up to you a coupleof suggestions in the hopes that it will avoid you from having a similar future situation such as the one you experienced.
- There are Mail Opton settings in Bell Webmail. Please log back in to your Bell Webmail. Go to & Select > Settings. Select > Mail. On the right side of the screen, you will see a number of settings that you can choose from. When you are composing an email, you can choose Auto-save email drafts: Select the interval that best meets your need. Select > Manually, or every 1-3-5 or 10 min.
- Most web sites have a timer built in that requires activity after your initial log in. At some point in time, you may lose your connection. this can be as a result of any number of factors. E.g. Inactivity such as no keyboard activity, usage time, maintenance, connection issues, traffic, etc. You need to be conscious of this & always remember to complete or save whatever activity you are working on. E.g. MyBell, Bell Community Forum, Webmail, banks, online subscriptions, Microsoft software online sites, etc.
Thank you for posting your question.
Take care.
