Are you certain the e-mail was actually from Bell? I have noticed a huge increase in phishing e-mails designed to extract my account (the b1 number) and my password to verify something like requiring me to update my access to the Bell Mail web page (untrue) or the kind of "overage" you are being asked for. I ignore all of them. Be careful.

As like what DKS shared in their post: If this was a high usage warning from an email and that you have an unlimited usage internet contract with Bell, then the email is highly suspicious. So, I, too, advise to discard that email. Use your browser to log in to Bell and pull up your Bell Fibe internet package description. There ought to be this following package description if you have unlimited usage as a part of your internet plan:

  • Unlimited usage

If while you are logged into Bell, you are seeing a high usage warning, it may be best to call into Bell and to talk to someone who is responsible for Bell Fibe internet contracts/packages. They may be helpful in removing the warning if you have unlimited usage or they may identify why the warning is there to begin with. I hope that helps. Have a wonderful new week.
