I got ahold of a second Gigahub unit I use as a secondary Wifi access point. Obviously, it's not connected to internet through the fiber port.
Is the Gigahub able to receive firmware updates even though it gets internet access from one of its ethernet ports?

The Gigahub that's provisioned to your account (MAC address, serial #, etc) is the only one that will receive firmware updates. The one that you "got ahold of" is Bell's, as they don't sell them.

No.... I can only assume that it was purchased legally from the manufacturer.
Maybe you should call BELL Tech Support at 310-BELL or at 1-800-310-BELL.
I can not speak for them, as I do not work for Bell, but I am quite sure your request would be of interest.
If t hey were to help you, they would need to know the serial number, MAC address & a few details with respect to the history & its current firmware.

Hi there @psyko_chewbacca. Thanks for your post.
@ZaneP is correct.
Additional to the modem being Bell property as we do not sell them, If you received this second modem from us through your account one of them would need to be returned as there could be a future non-return charge.
