Home Hub 2000 + uninterrupted power supply (UPS)

I live in an area that experiences a lot of power outages which cause delays in service and power surges when it comes back on causing my modem to malfunction needing a replacement.

I'm thinking of buying an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) to power the Home Hub 2000 modem when the power goes out. However, I'm on the home wireless service not Fibe so I have an antenna box in my basement where the antenna wire connects.

I would think that I would need a UPS on both the antenna box and modem since they are in two separate areas and both are needed for the internet to work?

Hey there @jinsley8, thanks for your post and welcome to the Bell Community.

I think you're on the right track. Any electric device used to power your Satellite Internet would need a battery pack to run during a power outage.
