Home Hub 4000 Icon in explorer in Windows 10

I just switched to Bell Fibre and now I have a Bell Icon in explorer next to my network drives in MyPC.  Is there anyway to remove it from there.  It does nothing and disrupts the visual setup I have.

When I double clicked on the icon, it says working on it and then I have a blank window.   I did take caution to the wind and right clicked on it and chose to remove the device.  The Icon was gone and I have not seen any repercussions from this.

Hey @pudsadillo. That is an option for sure, or you could also simply change the Icon image.

Hi there @pudsadillo. Thanks for reaching out to the Bell Community 🙂

Just to make sure we're on the same page, are you able to share a screen shot (hiding any personal information)? Also what happens when you click on the Bell Icon?

Just curious, how would I change the Icon?

Hey @pudsadillo

Just a quick Google search shows the steps below:

Go to Settings > Personalization > Themes and on the right side of the window, select Desktop icon settings. This will launch a new window where you can toggle the icons for This PC, your user folder, Network, Control Panel, and the Recycle Bin. While here, you can also change the icons for these shortcuts if you want.

Have a great day 🙂
