Home Hub modem speed test

On the Home Hub modem, when we press the button to do the modem speed test, does anyone know where or to which server it sends the message/signal to?

Hi @flynby, great question!

When speed test is initiated either by pressing the button, the Bell Wi-FI app or from the modem GUI; it will launch a Samknows UDP speed test between the modem and a Samknows server with the lowest latency.

Is the modem speed test conducted with Samknows servers based at Bell sites or at any internet service provider's location that has a test server?

The servers are located in the Bell network.
