How do I activate my ethernet wall jack?

Good day,

I just installed the Bell Giga Hub modem and tried to connect my desktop to the wall jack, but it doesn't work.

(wifi works perfectly)

Did I connect wrong or should I do anything else?

Thank you for replying & letting us know that you are now up & working. Glad to have been of assistance.

FYI only. May I suggest that you take the time to secure the modem properly to the utility panel wall. You should have received a paper template with the proper hole markings. Install 2 screws as spaced on the template protruding .75” from the wall backboard. Hook & hang the modem over the screws. Securely tie back the modem cables with front of the modem facing out. This will make your life a lot easier if you need to access the modem & verify information, etc. It can easily fall out & damage the modem & cables if left as is.
