hi I have an IP camera that is reachable from a web browser, is working fine. It's assigned a 10.0.0.x ip address and does NOT show up in the gigahub ethernet connected devices list. I can't add it to the NVR either. I know it's on the network as I can connect to it. So it must be getting IP assigned by gigahub but why is it not showing up in connected devices? I think this is why I can't add it to NVR. anyone have any ideas

Hi @gregory
I don't have direct experience with an IP-based camera. Hopefully others here who do will reply to your issue. Meantime, I think we need more information.
The Giga Hub DHCP server wouldn't be assigning addresses in that subnet (10.0.0.x). The camera won't show up as a connected device on the LAN unless its address is 192.168.2.x. Are you using a separate router which connects to the Giga, per @BellPatricia ? Or are you directly connecting to it from a computer's web browser using ethernet?
As well, can you tell us how the NVR is connected. To a router, directly to the Giga, cloud-based, etc?
Cheers,
ZaneP

Hey there @gregory, thanks for your post and welcome to the Community.
Perhaps another community member had a similar experience. Can you share the make and model of your IP camera?
Also, are you using any third party equipment such as a router to connect?

Hello,
I just switched over to Bell from Rogers - and for some reason, now my NVR is only available to view remotely on my iPhone via Wifi locally. (this was previously not an issue) The LTE connection is no longer working to view my system. I am having a similar issue with other customers - I used to be able to remote into their systems from inside my local network - and this is no longer letting me either. I have heard of some people adding another modem in line with the Gigahub, but I haven't attemped this yet. I am a professional security installer with 5 years of experience, and have patched into recent Gigahub modems for other customers with no issues. Please advise as this is very frustrating. Thanks!

Hi there @miccar33
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community.
Are you able to share some further information?
Are you using Bell Smart Home or third party?
What modem model do you have?
What camera models do you have?
Looking forward to hearing back.

Did you find a solution? I switched from cogeco to Bell months ago and since that date my NVR cameras have not been online. Apparently it’s a port forwarding issue but I don’t know how to fix it. Please help if you can!
