Remote Connection on System Logs

Hello,

Preface: i'm a new bell internet user. Thus, this could be "typical"

Upon checking system logs, I notice a constant "remote connection initiated" quickly followed by "remote connection dropped" - is this normal?

Appreciate any feedback.
Thanks

Good Day.

This is normal activity. The system logs record all activity. Most of which is information only.

You can sort these log messages if you so desire. The logs pretty well track everything that is going on with your modem. & fibre connection. This includes the Bell servers sending & receiving information. E.g. device connections, updates, internet activity & errors, Home phone, Wi-Fi, TV update, etc.

It is nothing to worry about.

Enjoy.

Take care.
